Say goodbye to your rake!! I don't know why it took me so long to buy these blades. I had standard blades that cost a bit over $20 for the set of 3. In the stores the gator blades were $20 each, so perhaps that is what created the delay. Through Amazon I got 3 for $40 (that was the total price which included shipping). Had I known how great these work, and how much back breaking time I could have saved all these years because of raking and bagging clippings, I would have paid the $20 (each) price tag years ago. Also, I did not change or modify my mower in any way to create the mulching effect. Everything still shoots out the side, but the pieces are so small they blend right into the lawn. I don't have to mow out to the right edge anymore making only left turns.
