I chose to buy this entire assembly (versus just a bearing replacement) because I was not sure how much internal wear went on in my old one as the bearings disintegrated.The additional cost didn't bother me much as the bearings alone (with shipping) came out to more than half the price of this shipped to my door.This piece also has pre-drilled/pre-threaded holes and also came with the new bolts making it an extremely convenient and easy install.I'm getting a great, even cut from my lawnmower these days.
