This is not the first time I've purchased large mechanical items and had them shipped by parcel delivery.This is though, the first time I've had a product delivered to me without any sign of damage (the box had no signs of rips, scuffs or tears) where I ended up with damaged goods.
Specifically, the mower deck pan was heavily dented, so much so that it required me to remove the blade and use a rubber mallet to knock the dent out so that the blade could turn under the mower deck.After reassembly of the blade under the deck, I went to extend the handle to the operating position, only to find that BOTH sides on the hinge support welded to the deck were bent and they too required "adjustment" so that the handle could be assembled.Lastly, after completing the the assembly checklist prior to using the mower, I started it up, engaged the drive and nothing happened. Short story, the drive belt had slipped off the pulleys which required me to open the deck from both the top and bottom (removing the blade for the second time)to fix.Total time spent to ready this mower for service; 1 1/2 hours.
As a mower, not bad but not great.

- Cheap, This is a 5 year mower (deck) with some 10 year parts
Why would they NOT put a handle on the outside of the bag to help customers empty it??
Oh well, you get what you pay for...

This is the heaviest roller that I found that can be pushed/pulled by hand, not with a tractor.I rototilled my entire backyard to sow new grass seed.This left the lawn very bumpy and uneven.I smoothed it out as much as possible with a wide metal rake, then rolled with this roller.It definitely helped compact the soil and set the seed in good contact with the soil, but it is just not heavy enough to really smooth out high spots.This is true even though it was only working on loose dirt.It would likely be less effective on an established lawn.It does does what it is supposed to, roll about 230 lbs across your lawn, but don't expect it to do the job of a 600lb roller.
