Blade works very well. I have no clumps of grass at all after mowing. But a friend who's a lawn person was visiting me and showed me two blades of grass. One was cut off very cleanly the other jagged and turning brown on top. He explained to me how this is caused. jagged one was from an un-sharpened blade. Anyway not sure if this was from using my old blade before or not.
